I think it might hide your account for people with adult content completely turned off? But nah, unfortunately your posts are still labelled on a per post basis.

To add to this, dw about being "deboosted" for labeling your content for adults. There's no algorithm here. The only time your post won't be visible is to those that don't want to see nsfw anyway. Also alt text is discoverable and mutable! So describe what your post is about to help
