Because a *reason* to fight is not enough. I *love* Sophie Scholl. She *died* doing the right thing, fighting against the Nazis, by speaking truth to power. She was executed for it. She's brave. She's a role model.

But did it actually do one fucking *thing* to stop the Nazis? No.

Maybe if there were 100,000 people like Sophie Scholl in Nazi Germany, they could have done something. But there weren't. There was just that small White Rose society, and they were all horrifically murdered. Posthumous vindication, yes, but it did not actually *help* anything.
