Yes, military aid provides substantial help in a conflict, but Ukraine provided what was most dear: the resourceful, skilled people who were willing to die for their country.

Without Ukraine, Putin would have kept up his march onward into Europe and the US would have needed to pay a *lot* more.

A while back, Hegeseft made the ridiculous claim that US navy didn't match up to Russia. He said it would take 7 years to catch up. Ukraine took out ~1/3 of Russian navy and 1 submarine, all without having a navy of their own.

Ukraine has been innovative, creating cost-effective drone weaponry.
