When the French and Italians protest they don't risk getting fired and losing their healthcare. We also have militarized police in tactical gear with armored vehicles who don't hesitate to brutalize us. The cost-benefit analysis has to swing more before some folks will risk it.

I watch mainstream corporate news from many nations around the world, and I have yet to see any coverage of the mass anti-Trump protests in the US.

I know they are happening because I see footage on social media, but even then, I have seen very few, almost like they've been suppressed by algorithm.
