From what I’m reading, exposure to freezing temperatures in the winter cause the blue to really appear!
I’ve caught plenty of semi-blue hued turkey tail before (on a forest floor), but these ones were feeding on driftwood right on a shoreline. I thought someone had dumped ink on the wood from afar!
