Great picture.
The last time I watched it, Curly, Raquel, and Des were in it.
I saw a trailer the other day and thought it was for a police drama.
I laughed out loud when it was Corra π
You mean that you missed Reg Holsworth, Maureen and the burst waterbed? Or Jack going to a dating agency only to be paired with Vera? Don't see anything like that now.
I barely missed an episode from the start until about 10 years ago when I gave up. There are now too many episodes, too few great characters and stories just keep repeating.
L-R:
Minnie Caldwell, Jack Walker, Annie Walker, Ena Sharples, Lucille Hewitt, ?, Florrie Lindley (maybe?) partially hidden, Jerry Booth, Dennis Tanner, Jenny Sutton, Valerie Barlow, Ken Barlow, Len Fairclough, Elsie Tanner.

Thanks, Pam. I don't remember him. I looked at the photograph and thought what talent they had in the early days. I believe originally it was broadcast live which would scare to death so many modern TV actors who can have plenty of 'takes'
He was married to Maggie Clegg, they owned the corner shop. He wasnβt in it for long, he and Maggie divorced and she took over the shop. π

(so am I!)
I remember Florrie Lindley.
I remember Maggie Clegg was she supposed to be the sister of Betty Turpin?
Loved the strong Northern women - Ena,Annie and Elsie. I can never see Anne Reid (fantastic actor) in anything without thinking 'there's Valerie Barlow'.
