I still have a feeling that part of Children of Dune (the book) will be integrated into Dune Messiah (the movie), since Villeneuve has repeatedly stated that his third and final film will conclude Paul's story. We'll see!

But I doubt it happens - based on Villeneuve comments it's pretty clear he's not a fan of Herbert's work beyond Dune Messiah (which is not a rare view, Children is where it start to gets really weird)
