Not for people who like that part of it? It makes it way better for me personally. It was only recently I even started sorta liking the non-fatal stuff because I've only liked explicitly fatal vore my whole life. No one has to understand it, it's just not your thing and that's fine.

Personally, I get around that by imagining the prey respawning. Like a cartoon that gets blown up or whatever, but is perfectly fine the next scene, or a video game character with extra lives. But I'm not gonna hate on anyone who prefers it fatal, fantasies are fantasy after all!
