I haven't used AI at all, with the exception of the auto usage on Google searches, but I don't trust it not to get something wrong or wildly wrong.

The pictures were lovely but the directions were just impossible to follow plus they used British crochet terms.

So, not only was I trying to figure out what steps were left out or unnecessarily duplicated, I was also translating stitch abbreviations. Which is difficult enough on its own without adding in having to go back and correct any mistakes AI would inevitably make.

I’m truly not sorry that I may get left behind because I’m not using AI when between myself, grammar books, style guides, and fellow writers can do a better job than AI.

It’s not faster if you end up having to rewrite and correct more than 50% of what it spits out.
