Have you tried using Alpinejs directly from the #Wordpress Gutenberg blocks? I'm experimenting it and getting a nice experience for the editors. I'm building patterns and using Alpine x-bind and x-data. I couldn't find almost any documentation about using Alpine.js together with Wordpress...
