Thank you. It’s strange how much the costumes altered people’s behaviour & gestures. Men bowing & flicking back lace cuffs. Us women very poised held upright by corseted waists, boobs proudly presented. Dancing & flirting, swishing skirts & men in brocade frock coats behaving impeccably.

I think subconsciously we do adopt the persona of our costumes - particularly if they are associated with a certain behaviour. I’m sure it was a fab night.

Yes it’s a truism to dress for the job you want. It does boost confidence if you’re smartly dressed for an interview. Or something which is “ very you”. Idiosyncratic and your sartorial flavour. Being you with your jewellery, crazy hair & Diva outfit.

It was the night of my life. As a producer I had fun organising the location. The decorations. The orchestra. The food. The cast. ( an MC cos guests were announced as they made their way up the staircase that divided in two as it reached the ballroom!
