3D total has a whole set of Beginner’s Guide to. Which I highly recommend. They have freebies if you buy it directly from their website, but you can also find their books on Amazon. I probably will buy more, it’s just a matter of when at this point 😆💦 - ThreadSky

I mean it’s really quality tbh. Worth investing if you’re serious about it.
Still lots of free resources on youtube tho.

I joined an artists patreon too that regularly posts tutorials and I followed along some exercises she recommends and I actually saw myself getting better😬 oh that sounds interesting

I’ve been trying both. I ordered 2 books but only one made me understand things better😂but me understanding anything is always something else. I’m considering preordering a book a friend shared with me from an artist that helped her loads but it won’t be here till March 🫠

When it comes to courses/books. I always say research the artist first and see if you jive with their teaching style. Otherwise you won’t learn much. 😅 I find I like how 3D total does theirs, mostly because it’s already geared towards digital art learning.
