Good to know. I believe the two I've had courteous dialogues with today, but I have no further funds to spare as I spread what spare cash I have among a range of charities. Many outside Gaza do not realize the extent of our suffering. During Ramadan, we fast for long hours, yet we do not know what we will eat for iftar. Famine surrounds us, food is scarce, and even the most basic necessities have become a luxury 😔💔

There are two million Palestinian citizens of Israel with full voting rights and equal access to healthcare and education. This is more than they are guaranteed in Lebanon, Syria, and even Palestine. Israel is NOT the reason Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank have not voted in two decades.

I have no objection to equal rights for all citizens regardless of color or creed.

I also think that Israel has the exact same right as every other sovereign nation to decide upon whom it wishes to confer citizenship.

No country in the world can be forced to give out citizenship, surely?

Oh yes they certainly can. I am in a country where the people we occupied/colonised were given the vote. We effectively had no choice. Same for the US, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and multiple other countries colonised/conquered by other people. Israel is no different in this regard.
