Love that I can’t find a person from Gaza who’s being impersonated by a PayPal scammer to let them know that is happening because their account has been removed by Bluesky 🙃

For over 550 days, we’ve endured relentless war surrounded by destruction and pain. We’ve escaped death more than once, but the fear in my children’s hearts is unbearable. They shook through shelling, their eyes seeing horrors no child should.
Yes- and there are maybe 4 accounts who use it exclusively that I know are in Gaza- but it’s definitely something I’d be skeptical of if someone is raising on it exclusively
lots of people are, but if you *only* see paypal, be initially wary. and then if the name on the paypal is one of the five nigerian names that go around, or they're asking for insulin, be sus.
