1 dose infections means that parents should be aware that even though they have their kids "up to date" on vaccines - that even though they think they're alright -
THEY CAN STILL CATCH MEASLES. 🫠
The vaccine is only ~90% effective with one shot, 97% with two, BUT the vaccine is worth it because it significantly decreases the risk of DEATH.
Also, measles is contagious as all hell.
You know there are some people hiding at home "treating" with calamine lotion and ivermectin.
No idea if CDC will be able to update, so gathered myself.
