I’ve said for a while, despite all the realignment, the stuff that made us love CFB isn’t changing. Toe still hits leather at noon, we still have touching the banner, script Ohio, the Rambling Wreck, and 100 other traditions; in that end, those are why we’re here and that stuff isn’t going away.

This is SO good. In addition to "They Can't Make This Suck," I love "the load-bearing love and hate" of college football. It's as concise a metaphor for what makes college football great that I've read and what I'll be looking at as a fan to make sure they continue to be unable to make it suck.

Though with divisionless 45 team conferences, they sure are trying. I was told there would be no math/fifth tiebreakers. We could really use some realignment to go with our realignment.
