My wife and I had the typical “starter” home that we rehabbed and then sold when our family grew. All we had was equity in the house, so we had to pick the highest bidder. One of my regrets is that we couldn’t pass it on to another young couple. Definitely hoping to rectify that when we move again.

When we were in Louisville it was absolutely impossible to find the neighborhoods with kids where they could actually hangout and play. It was like, Douglass Hills... And uh.....????? Everything else was either too expensive for families or not walk/bike-able.

You could have my neighbors who blew up their house, a few years ago. The primary cause of the fire was the propane tank stored in the garage The house blowing up was the first time I met most of my neighbors!
