My 7 yr old was watching Muppets movies over Christmas time, and Triumph is on one, and I had to tell her about him and all of it. Now "...For me to poop on!" is in her comedic tank. 😆 She is a real comic, so it really was part of "Comedic History"......that was my excuse.🤣
Honestly it really doesn't hurt to just be polite to people, you never know what they could be going through, and it could even make their day! I get a little anxious when I feel like there's a chance that I may have been anything less than polite.
As an Aussie I find tipping as an automatic part of a restaurant bill sad. Servers, and all kitchen staff, should be paid an adequate living wage by their employer.
I tip for good service here. In the US I tip because I know staff aren't paid decently.
