The thing is that weight gain on its own doesn't inherently imply unhealthiness. It *can* be an issue if someone exclusively eats poorly or never exercises but it's possible to be chubby/fat while still being healthy.

Also mportant to consider that weight gain can be a side effect of various health conditions or medications, like antidepressants. I think promoting "health" rather than being at a certain weight or having a certain type of build is more important, we can lose the forest for the trees otherwise.

I know this isn't your intent btw but I've also seen people go too hard in the opposite direction and break their bodies trying to get skinnier or more muscular. This is why I think emphasizing "health" is important. Skinnier doesn't inherently equal healthier.
