The only people I have a bit less compassion are anyone who one, claims a natural disaster is a punishment or two, anyone who as a rule bags on California. There are good people everywhere and losing a home is a tragedy of epic proportions.
people choose to live where it snows, people pay the high prices for california because the weather is supposed to be perfect. it isn’t the same. everyone knows if you live in a place that snows you should be okay with winter being the worst thing ever.
yeah, but we also get to see a bunch of dipsh*ts blame red state politics and climate change deniers for the disasters since that is our new normal in this dysfunctional, unmoderated 'free speech' world.
Nobody deserves to lose their homes or die due to climate change, no matter what you think about the politics of the state. Before you post something shitty about the South, ask yourself: does this make it sound like I hate poor people?
Actually how about I go ahead and limit replies because apparently "don't make fun of people for dying just because you don't like their state" is controversial.
