We are heartbroken and outraged to learn that Alfredo "Lelo" Juarez was violently detained by ICE while dropping his partner off at work. He is reportedly being held at a private detention facility in Tacoma, Washington. 🧵

Serious question, how can that happen if he’s undocumented? I understand the cases where people have valid visas or valid temporary status but how would that work in this case? It would be helpful if @indivisible.org educated people more on this.
