The fact that Welcome to Raccoon City had such potential too with being closer to the games than the initial films and a decent cast only for the final product to be such doodoo

Resident Evil shouldn't have over hour long movies. Resident Evil like all their games play by chapters/acts. Therefore Resident Evil should instead be an episodic series recapping event of their various games and their respective chapters/acts. They should be following in the footsteps of Fallout.

Given the kind of video game adaptions we've been having lately, they really need to nail it this time. I mean, Castlevania, Arcane, Fallout, Sonic, and heck, even the new Super Mario Bros. shows it can be done.
