After 40yrs in the US, I'm returning to EUR this year. This channel just slays me, as I wonder how my life will change. Grew up in West Germany, moving to Portugal. I'm sure a solid sense of humor will help.

I remember you have described you're originally from BRD. Welcome back to Europe! Been in Bayern couple of times. Nice area and delicious food. Also studied a bit German in school. Can't speak or understand it. Only some words and sentences.
Sounds good. I've driven through North West area also going from Travemünde to Paris by car. And back home through Denmark and Sweden. But unfortunately didn't have time to stay, just a drive through.
German language has similarities with our second official language Swedish which helps learning.

A return to EUR was never in the cards until...
