If I feel like someone would be okay with me messing with them a lil (like Azuorro, who I drew with churro antlers here) I will draw an expression to fit what I did to their character *or* I'll just draw them very silly/looking like an idiot >.>
If their ref sheet indicates they have a preferred vibe/energy to them (like a note about their personality, or if their main ref is not drawn with a neutral/happy expression, etc) I will lean into that.
