I do feel the communications from dem leadership need to be amped up a bit BUT that includes stating what they CANNOT do (Jasmine Crockett already does this). Democrats cannot do much politically. When I yell at them to do something, I just want them to be campaigning for public opinion, calling out problems and presenting a vision of the future, with effective messaging. They are deaf to the demands of working people, their voting base, and it hurts.

I have been calling my reps and telling them what I think but so far they have only slightly seemed concerned. Senators could be refusing unanimous consent, voting against unqualified nominees and holding town halls in person to hear our concerns, holding press conferences and joining protests. 1/2

House members should be calling for hearings and investigations into musk and his clear conflicts of interest, not pretending doge is a real agency or that it has anything to do with waste and abuse after the firing of 17 IGs who were tasked by congress to do just that. So much more they could do.

I agree with those things but they also tried to get musk in and they don't have the votes. They really have a problem with holding people accountable without the votes. But, the communication needs to be there. The 24-hour State of the People marathon starting tonight is good

Though you may be bound in facts. You are running into a situation where you are appearing to do what Democrats always do. Which is be heavy on the facts. And appear light on action. If you present something that cannot be done cool. But give people who are just starting to appear an alternative.
