Of course it is, because they stream live there and have for many years, you can't build up a following without starting somewhere

Also I was kinda just hoping for a multiplatform stream across both which Twitch allows nowadays. That way losing no viewers, only gaining additional ones

yeah but theyve also uploaded all their live content *to* youtube and have seen diminishing returns over the years.
also, im pretty sure they sign exclusivity contracts w twitch for SGDQ/AGDQ so i imagine their relationship w twitch is pretty strong. wouldnt be surprised if hotfix has smth similar

Live content uploaded afterwards is always gonna do poorly compared to the live event, however if there is an exclusivity deal then that makes sense. Just a lot of people unsatisfied with how Twitch is nowadays and if it was multiplatform then it can only help get more money for charity which is key
