I think he talks about the new upcoming characters from the new faction called "Stars of Lyra" and I agree with him, they look that came from Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail

Fortunately there's still some hope left with the Virtual Idols and the rest of Obol Squad, but I totally get what you mean. These two just feel so out of place in the game.

I hoped zzz meant hoyo would create more diverse games. As much as im not fan of zzzs design, it leaning towards hsr and genshin style means theres less chance of hoyo choosing bold decisions in the future

Damn, you are right. And that does suck. The thing I love about ZZZ are the urban designs similar to TWEWY and Persona.
