I say in the book's acknowledgements that I think most modern writing about the trans femme experience owes a huge debt to Imogen Binnie's Nevada, one of the great American novels. Everyone should read it!

I was knocked out by the short stories in Emily Zhou's collection Girlfriends and have read a couple of them multiple times. I can't wait to see what's next in her career. She's a wonderfully talented writer with a keen eye for detail.
