Full backwards compatibility and never having to start your library from the beginning have always been good motivators for pc gaming though

People always ask how steam libraries can go to 1k games and I'm like 'well bc it can run all the games, not just ps5 and ps4 and some ps1'

I wouldn’t say full but 99% for sure. There were games that required specific hardware to run. Not that that couldn’t be emulated but someone would have to want to make the hardware emulator. Also there are games that used clock speed to run. On a 33mhz cpu great on a 2.5ghz cpu no bueno.

It’s more so the fact that this is probably gonna be the end of Xbox. Anyone with an extensive library on Xbox is right to be concerned with this move. If Microsoft has no faith in their console, then why should we?
