"No more DEI" is how the fed is going to get around employment discrimination, mark my words.
The real threat to the civil service won't be mass firings, it'll be the fact that it's no longer a path to the middle class for millions of minority workers & those coming from disadvantaged backgrounds.

This is exactly it. All complaints of “DEI hires” are just quicker ways of saying “I believe that only white men are capable of doing skilled labor.” Read it as white supremacist when you see it, because that’s what it is. (Not to mention patriarchal and homophobic and xenophobic and etc etc)
