Interesting charge, there. Which, of course, speaks to the tension of why you get to define what is/isn't the definition of "work" a life-long activist gets to use in casual conversation.

I don't get to define it and I'm not. In a reality-based community, the definition is one that is come to by general consensus as it were. And I wouldn't say what she's doing in that video is casual conversation.

True - you're not defining it but you're also rejecting someone else's definition. So, again, I go back to my first question - what's to say that the "reality-based community" definition isn't the one she's using?

Depending on whether she's referring to the classic version of 'woke' or the newer, critical social justice version, neither means what she said to most people. Also, the way she uses it is to draw a moral line between good and bad people. It's weaponizing it like MAGA does, just flipped.
