I hope steam deck compatability will be considered. I'm still sad I can't fully enjoy all the love and dedication that went into Anonymous;Code's English localization due to videos not working under Wine/Proton. I'll continue to wish for A;C fixes and that Never7/Ever17 are good day 1!

Warning to anyone thinking this will finally let them experience Ever17: This remaster will use the script of the infamous Xbox 360 remake, which was made without most of the original staff and butchers a lot of the story. This should not be your first exposure to Ever17.

It has nothing to do with any sort of translation. In the first place, the Xbox 360 remake was never translated before. The issue is that the Japanese script was rewritten without involvement from any of the original writers. It's basically a fanfic.

Ah. Boo! I loved the PC version, it was an amazing story and the first VN I'd tried that used the medium like that. Remember 11 was also very good, if a bit more untranslatable due to the whole ore/watashi malarkey (IIRC).
