Will there be some sort of upgrade from Switch 1 to Switch 2? I want to own a REAL physical copy of the game and also be able to play it at its best quality. But buying a Switch 1 physical with no way to upgrade sucks, and I don't want to have a useless Key Card wasting away in my collection.

Excuse me @spikechunsoftinc.bsky.social, there is no reason for this release to use a game key card on Switch 2. Especially since the Switch 1 release is using a regular card. You shouldn't force your customers to chose between real cards or quality. It's a bad precedent & fans expect better of you.

I'm genuinely really disappointed in you guys. Game-Key Cards are actively contributing to destroying game preservation, and yet you're participating in it simply because you want to save costs. I am more than willing to pay the extra amount for a proper physical release bc preservation matters.

Please consider an upgrade path from Nintendo Switch 1 to Nintendo Switch 2. It's more consumer-friendly, saves storage space, and doesn't lose you any money if you simply make the upgrade path cost the same amount as the difference between the NS1 and NS2 versions of the game.

In fact, I'd argue it makes you more money because more people who own a Switch 2 are more likely to buy the game if they know they can both get a proper physical edition and a better way to play the game.
