Don’t expect with that squad (which to be fair is very much Dyche’s now) to be marching on to glory all of a sudden, but equally, you can’t just put your head in the sand when things seem to be slipping backwards at the exact wrong time. A decision to be made and quickly, I’d say.

Yep was half expecting the same. The hope is they are ready to go from Day 1 with every important top position in the club. We are rudderless from the top with nobody able to make a decision. Standards are now rock bottom. United next is a right off and we have to beat Wolves.

I think that’s the underlying point - last season at Goodison should be building towards something…some sort of emotional crescendo. Instead it’s an interminable, almost unbearable, grind. I disliked his football from the first, but now I loath it, and him. He’s stealing something precious from us.
