Beneath The Dragoneyed Moons. Fates Parallel. Eve of Destruction. All I Got Is This Stat Menu (Super Hero LitRPG series). Manifestation (MC is later revealed to be Lesbian/Bi and gets a GF). Kraken Mage (If you like Smut & Tentacles)
My faves:
- Night Tide by Anna Burke
- The Fiancée Farce by Alexandria Bellefleur
- A Saga of Shields and Shadows by AJ Shirley (very 🌶️ romantasy ft. bisexual woman of color MC)
- Homestead for the Holidays by Wren Taylor
- Stars Collide by Rachel Lacey
- The Senator’s Wife series by Jen Lyon
Oh yes!! Margo Zimmerman Gets The Girl (YA), How To Excavate a Heart (YA), Cinderella is Dead (YA), Ride of Her Life, Love At First Set, The Gravity Between Us, Forbidden Girl, Only Mostly Devastated, Never Ever Getting Back Together, If This Gets Out, Delilah Green Doesn't Care
A Sweet Sting of Salt is lovely. Also enjoyed Freya Marske's A Restless Truth but note it’s the second in a (very good) trilogy and the first and third books are m/m and I’m not sure if it fully stands alone. Netherford Hall is a good read
Moira Fowley-Doyle's books feel very sapphic in memory but I think they don’t necessarily have much in the way of romance. Kind of the queer vibes of forming a coven with your best friends
I feel like maybe my reading comprehension was off the day I read this, cause I keep seeing people love it, but I didn't care for it, I feel like I'm missing something everyone else is getting.
The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School by Sonora Reyes, Make You Mine This Christmas by Lizzie Huxley-Jones or Merry and Bright by @jacollignon.bsky.social
i'm currently reading a banh mi for two and i love it. it's about a vietnamese food blogger falling in love with a vietnamese american study abroad student who's trying to find her roots
here we go again & kiss her once for me, interesting facts about space, detransition baby, our wives under the sea, you exist too much, yerba buena, last night at the telegraph club
This is How You Lose the Time War is an all time fav, along with the Burning Kingdoms trilogy (Jasmine Throne). Girl Serpent Thorn was also very enjoyable imo.
Plenty of others have mentioned Priory and Gideon already, also very good
these feathered flames,
the priory of the orange tree
colorblind by siera maley (short but good)
gideon the ninth
the poppy war
tryst six venom (not for everyone pretty toxic at first)
some girls do
girl,serpent, thorn
of ice and shadow
criers war
the jasmine throne
girls of paper and fire
Was coming here to say this. If you like fantasy, this duology is great, and the author, Samantha Shannon, posts a lot of great sapphic (mostly, but not exclusively, fantasy) books on her insta. I’d check her highlights!
Gideon the Ninth (sci-fi/fantasy), Written in the Stars (romance), Delilah Green Doesn’t Care and sequels (romance), Gwen and Art are Not in Love (YA Romance), Kiss Her Once for Me (romance), Priory of the Orange Tree/A Day of Fallen Night (fantasy)
Have you read Ashley Herring Blake’s novels? Delilah Green Doesn’t Care is one of my favorite books. Another book is Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur. A sapphic fantasy is The Honey Witch by Sydney J shields, the writing is a little different than I normally read but it’s kind of cute.
Ngl, it is pretty historically accurate, and the heroine goes through some awful, harrowing events on the way to her HEA. It's got heavy romance, but it's not *a* romance, per se.
But it is very well-written and researched, and it's truly just fascinating.
If you're ok with some sci-fi and court intrigue along with your sapphic love, consider A Memory Called Empire. MC is an anxious offworlder, love interest is a xenophile government agent, their exploits change the fate of an empire
some of my faves are: Last Night at the Telegraph Club, We Are Okay, This Is How You Lose the Time War, The Lady's Guide to Celestial Mechanics, Ophelia After All, She Gets the Girl! its a mix of adult and ya, contemporary and historical and science fiction :)
Lol I was about to suggest one last stop 😂 I love that book!! I just finished the night she disappeared by lisa jewell, kinda giving away a bit by telling you it’s sapphic but I loved the chemistry! It’s a really enthralling thriller, not super happy tho 😅

Historical English lesbians in music halls. It's sooooo good.
Fingersmith, Waters. Historical English lesbian thief.
