I wonder how it would shake out to make the IRS have to "self-fund" like the Post Office. If they had to make payroll out of Audit Recovery, I feel like that could appeal to "run government like businesses" conservatives while having some real Sickos Appeal for Taxes

on the one hand, sure, it *looks* like republicans are going after IRS enforcement of tax cheats for their wealthy friends, but on the other hand, they *say* that they’re working class now. so who can say?
