Measles is the beginning. There's a lot of scary stuff that science has helped eradicate with vaccines.

And it's not a Darwin award thing. Some people are immuno compromised or too young for vaccines. And the more something spreads, the better chances of mutations. This is a road to ruin.

I’m waiting for polio. I’ve seen one polio-like syndrome during residency, and I’ve seen lots of post-polio problems (even in one of my mentors during training). I’d like to finish out my career without seeing a case, but I’ve got at least 10 years left and I’m not sure my luck is going to hold.
