I've gotten miles better about stressing out about snow duty, but my body still has a physical reaction to the report for duty page when we get called in to go plow.

I was so stressed when I first started driving a snow plow, I actually had the hair in my beard fall out, lost sleep, and couldn't function normally for a day or two after. It's one of the most stressful things I've done, because I'm so worried about not hitting anyone or anything. So please...
Please make sure if you see a plow out on the road while it is snowing, and they are pushing snow or spreading material, give them room to work, and understand it's a person in there just trying to do their best
THIS! I stress the fuck out even just pushing snow on the farm where I live. I don't know how the guys do it in actual streets and driveways and parking lots! That shit takes SKILL!!!
My dad drove a plow for YEARS and I will never forget how many hours he put in, how stressed he was, and how relieved he was when he retired. He told me he barely hates snow now 😂
