I almost wrote a whole screed on how "leftwing" voters' responses to trans folks in sports is a litmus test of their future value in any civil rights fight that doesn't center them. How it's so perfect because the stakes are so nebulous to them but yet they have OPINIONS. They just aren't worth it.
