I love that IQ has a standard deviation of 15 points. There is a 66% chance that your IQ is within 15 points of either side of where you test. Seems ... legit?

Don't even get me started on how few people grasp that IQ was invented as a scale for one reason only: To determine if a person lacked the mental faculties for unmonitored self-care. Simon and Binet both accepted that human intelligence was multidimensional and that their work had limited use.
