It's a good point but after flying in the area yesterday with their regular broadcasts and inability to respond to valid queries from civilian aircraft there does need to be something more.

I think the something more, needs to be careful diplomacy with a genuine commitment to maintaining peace in the region. (and 100% acknowledgement to civilian pilots flying across the Tasman right now🫡)

Yeah I'm totally against sabre rattling and showing force but some sign our government was onto it would be appreciated. Quite bizzare that we received no notification prior to departure when things far more minor are notified.
