Our defense budget is the number one reason we can’t have nice things. But try to cut it and they scream “support the troops!!” when in reality most of it goes to defense contractors that produce overpriced equipment we are never going to use. It’s the biggest corporate handout in the world.

I'd figure the GOP, for all their war drum bearing, would at least support veterans in every way, especially after serving. Why don't they get proper Healthcare after they serve, and why can't all Americans be treated with care and support by the government?
