The difference between not racist & anti-racist:
•White MSNBC anchors publicly defending Joy Ann Reid by condemning her firing = not racist
•White MSNBC anchors publicly defending Joy Ann Reid by quitting in solidarity with her = anti-racist
Not racist = words
Anti-racist = actions
Actions > Words

I'm open to seeing the data that says her show wasn't declining or at the bottom of the ratings.
Why can't people who condemn 2 slice Hilly from The Help stop playing her irl? And you wonder how we got here....
The spectrum of white supremacy is infinite, depressing and destructive.
Btw, I don't know if they offered her something else, but Joy is the only person no longer with MSNBC. (I loved her Saturday show and hoped she'd go back to doing it.)
That said, had they had better ratings, they'd have stayed. Joy was lovely but she wasn't reach the numbers. Alex is better as a reporter. Facts
I thought something similar when Maddow was talking about the firing.
They have numerous, pretty bad anchors over there that still have jobs vs real talent that was shown the door.
Not the same.
I literally just pointed out the difference between a poor person standing up against racism and a rich person standing up against racism and highlighted the poor person will sacrifice themselves when the rich person would not.
Your response is “what about…..”
What is your race?
Please f*ck off.
