I think Republicans are extremely dangerous and will hurt a lot of people, but I also don't think they can govern effectively. It is important to see your opponent clearly and especially their weaknesses. They do not lack cruelty, but they do lack competence, and that is an opening to attack.

Trump's inability to understand how his branch works on a bureaucratic level is an opportunity to defeat him. You cannot control the people of the US without a massive increase in the administrative state. You can tear it down, but you can't control people this way.
