Bay FC hired Graeme Abel as part of their new global scouting department, following allegations of verbal abuse from former players at University of Oregon. The hire immediately raised questions about the vetting process.

The response..😑 all I can think of is : "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." Potter’s response was part “we can, so we did”, and also “my part was to have no part other than the final part”. DEMAND better and DO BETTER!

Also, can we knock it off with hiding behind "due diligence." They talk about it like they ran thru a short checklist and said, "yep, good enough." How about asking, "Is this a good hire? What does this hire say about us as a team? Is this the best we can do." Stop phoning it and actually think.
