It’s a yay for me… I hate flossing with a violent passion so never used to bother but the water flosser makes it simple and quick enough that I actually bother to do it now. Also good for cavities the toothbrush can’t hit.
Yay, for my specific use-case (weird ‘gum pockets’ caused by my bottom wisdom teeth coming in all wrong) or in addition to flossing, but my dentist advised against trying to replace regular floss. I got a cheap one and although rather large, it’s great.
I had a Philips one, and - like all of their dental products in recent years - it stopped working within the warranty period… so I got a free replacement which also broke. As did the replacement for that, and the replacement’s replacement.

My take is that they don’t test in hard-water areas 😩
