I think temu will because it's Chinese, but the f****** a******, Amazon idiot, who I've boycotted, cut my card up and buy nothing from his a** Now I go to temu that's where he gets his s*** anyway! The felon cut his balls off! The f***** coward!
Itβs hilarious that this is even an issue.
Fact is the price of the product will be 145% higher and the purchaser will still have to pay it regardless if the price is broken out or not.
Itβs useful to know how much the tariff is.
Yes, I do. Otherwise, I'm going to assume that retailers are taking advantage of the tariffs and using them as an excuse to make their prices higher. There needs to be a price breakdown so we don't blame retailers.
Went to a popular wholesale store today (guess) and saw a case of Coca Cola from Mexico going for $36.00. It was $29.00 two weeks ago. I guess those tariffs are working. I had to pass.
It wouldnβt just serve to highlight the cost of tariffs to consumers. It would also help to ensure price gouging isnβt happening. Once prices go up on a tariffed product there is a tendency for domestic producers to increase prices somewhat as they will still be competitive.
Yes. I have never used Temu, and haven't used Amazon since February, but I'd love to see all retailers list the cost of Tariffs. It would give us leverage to fight back since now we can only see prices rising, this would give us something to soundly fight against.
For a customer friendly, transparent, professional and correct business conduct they should specify everything.
As customer purchasing their product/s you have the right to know.
I want every retailer to list the cost of tariffs. It's bad enough this is the only developed country that doesn't add the taxes to the list price. It's like America loves surprising its consumers. Or, more accurately, gaslighting them.
Yes. I ordered Legos for $301.23 & later that charge was added again. Visa told me it was a fee which has to be a tariff. I had no idea & now I have to pay it. My online shopping days are ovet!
Charged the same amount twice and the second time was a tariff? Are you going to return it? I think itβs odd they charged a tariff after the point of sale. Iβd call my state AG office consumer protection division.
every retailer should...let the consumer know why they are paying more for the same...a public service
-they have to take the heat when they raise a price because of profit share
the government should take the same heat for their tax gouge
All businesses should have to list it. 1. If it's lumped in the total price, I suspect you will be taxed on that total. So pay tariff tax and tax on top of that? 2. If tariffs are lifted we need to see those prices come down accordingly and not be used as an excuse to price gouge.
Every Chinese company, like Temu and Shein, will be. They want Americans to know exactly why the product is so costly because itβs not the product price.

In BIG PRINT. Not a tiny footnote.
All costs & discounts should be listed

the government should take the same heat for their tax gouge
