It's the 3-wheel ones that are Moffets; they are hydraulic rather than counterweighted, and have a very small turning circle so good in tight spaces. [Nerd alert OFF]
Pleasure! They are often used for placing/moving/removing concrete barriers at roadworks sites - not much space for a run-up on some sites and if your HIAB doesn't fit, a Moffett will.
Yeah I have the occasional domestic site or similar with no forks available and we order up a moffett truck. I loved it the day I learned that’s its name so paying it forward.
