I sure wish people would be mad at the actual airlines for making the seats absurdly compact so they could wring more money out of each flight instead of other people on the plane just trying to get comfortable

btw I can simultaneously think that the conditions for passengers on commercial flights are unacceptable and also think the guy in front of me is a huge asshole for reclining his seat all the way back in the first ten minutes of a 14 hour flight wo so much as checking with the person behind them.

Sorry I just can't justify calling someone an asshole bc they reclined a seat on the airplane. It's the most minor of inconveniences. Maybe recline your own seat?

Like, when you're in a shared space with other people, you need to be considerate of them. And for the record if he'd have asked if probably would have said yes! At least for when he's sleeping. But I've been sitting here knees to seat for over half a day now :/

i know how awful long flights can be 🥲 but the asking is so important! taking into consideration that everyone is sharing the same space and it’s so easy to just think about who you’re around. i hope the rest of your flight gets a little easier though!!
