The Transport Secretary, Louise Haigh, has said “if the number of people being killed or seriously injured on our roads, were being killed in any other way, we'd be treating it as a pandemic”
Putting vision zero at the heart of this strategy, as many local leaders in the UK are doing, is vital.
The UK government must be evidence-led and back policies that are known to save lives.
